From the seasoned traveler to the first time flier, we want to make it a great experience.   As a Part-time Ramp Agent, you are responsible for ticketing and re-booking passengers, boarding flights, assisting passengers with special needs, processing baggage between baggage areas in the airport facilities and aircraft, receiving and dispatching aircraft.   - Routinely lift baggage, boxes, or cargo weighing 40 to 60 lbs when loading/unloading aircraft, and carts - Push/pull loaded and empty carts during loading/unloading operations - Couple/uncouple carts - Bend/stoop then crawl to move and stack/un-stack baggage in aircraft - Complete safety checklists for motorized equipment - Drive and operate motorized equipment (e.g., conveyor belt) - Read and interpret aircraft load sheets, checked baggage tags - Operate a computer to enter and retrieve data - Count baggage being uploaded/unloaded during operations - Operate portable radio or headphones - Connect hoses to aircraft - Use signaling devices to communicate with co-workers or flight crew - Escort passengers and special needs customers safely and courteously - Ensure compliance with SkyWest and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and policies - Other duties as assigned

To be considered for a pilot position, you must:  - Be at least 21 years of age  - Hold a Commercial License with Multi and Instrument Ratings - Possess a current first-class medical (verified at interview)  - Be a U.S. citizen or able to show proof of right to work in the U.S.  - Hold an FCC Radio License  - English Proficiency Endorsement (EPE)  - Have a current Passport  - Must be available to work on any day, seven days a week, including nights, weekends and holidays. - Based on pilot bidding seniority and other factors, must be available for a call-out with as little as a two hour notice. SkyWest will accept helo/glider time as part of an applicant's total time as long as they have a minimum of 250 PIC hours of fixed wing.   Canadian Clearance  Must possess and/or obtain and maintain a current passport (and applicable Visa, if necessary), with the ability to travel in/out of the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Bahamas without restriction.   Please note that some past criminal convictions, including DUI’s, may prohibit travelers from gaining Canadian clearance without a Temporary Resident Permit or Criminal Rehabilitation. Applicants must verify their ability to travel in and out of Canada unrestricted.   Reserve for Flight Jobs Initially, most pilot new hires can expect to be placed on reserve, depending on the needs of individual domiciles. In some cases, time spent on reserve can be substantial for flight jobs. Ready reserves are also used and most likely utilized at domiciles or hubs. Regular reserve policy requires a two-hour call out.
