Primary Job Duties

This is a part-time position.

 

As a Ramp Agent, you will provide excellent front-line service to our passengers. Some of your responsibilities may include:

  • Load/unload customer luggage, airfreight and company mail on/off aircraft
  • Greet passengers, issue tickets, provide seat assignments, check baggage, board flights, re-book passengers, all in a prompt and friendly manner
  • Escort passengers and special needs customers safely and courteously
  • Marshall aircraft in and out of the ramp area
  • Service aircraft as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

We are looking for individuals with a passion for customer service, especially within the airline industry! SkyWest Ramp Agents come from a wide range of backgrounds, education, interests, and experience. To apply, you only have to meet the following criteria:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must possess a valid state issued driver’s license
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain credentials necessary for the position
  • Position-specific clearances include but are not limited to FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs clearances required
  • Must be able to pass a pre-placement background check and drug screen
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Ability to lift heavy bags in excess of 60+ pounds, with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Must be able to work outdoors in extreme temperatures and weather conditions for an extended period of time
  • Must be willing to work early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must be flexible to work split shifts including early mornings, afternoons, and evenings
