    The SkyWest eLearning team is looking for talented individuals that love to travel and would like to grow and learn with the organization. We are searching for candidates that have a talent for creative design and a desire to develop quality eLearning courses.

     

    You will be creating online courses in Articulate Storyline software using elements and content created in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator) applications.

    • Candidate must possess excellent layout skills and have great attention to detail
    • Must be able to manage multiple projects in various stages of development
    • Need the ability to follow an existing template, and at times add some creative layout variation
    • Must be able to clean up/enhance photography and layout content consistently within templates
    • Partner with department SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) to implement high quality online training solutions that meet established training objectives.
    • Apply best practices and knowledge of eLearning and instructional design
    • Maintain and develop course templates, development models and standards, and procedures to ensure quality and consistency
    • Stay current with the eLearning industry, tools and techniques, and assist the team and SMEs in providing cutting edge solutions to operational departments.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

    Minimum Requirements

    • Strong graphic design and conceptual skills, visual style and thorough understanding of layout, visual hierarchy, and color theory
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
    • Work samples or portfolio are required (please provide PDF or online link)
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
    • Results oriented and the desire to make a meaningful impact on the business
    • Strong skills in organizational development, project management, and written communication
    • Proficient using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint


    Preferred Skills

    • Experience and skill organizing and presenting complex text and images effectively in written form as well as online mediums
    • Experience in developing content
    • Instructional Design or eLearning background a plus
    • Strong understanding of adult learning methodologies and approaches
    • Javascript and PHP may be useful
    • Excellent presentation skills
    • Experience in testing and validating various learning solutions
    • Two years of experience (or Bachelor’s Degree) in related field
    • Flash experience may be helpful
    • Knowledge of SCORM and XML

    Physical and Other Requirements

    • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time
    • Ability to travel, when required
