    As a Ticket/Gate Agent, you are responsible for ticketing and re-booking passengers, boarding flights, and assisting passengers with special needs. 

    • Greet and assist all customers in a friendly and timely manner
    • Issue tickets, assign seat assignments, check baggage, board flights and provide any other information needed
    • Comply with all safety procedures and station policies
    • Assist special needs passengers and resolve customer complaints
    • Communicate clearly with ground personnel and flight crews
    • Calmly handle situations such as cancelled and delayed flights
    • Other duties as assigned

    Minimum Requirements

    • Must be at least 18 years of age
    • US citizen or show proof of right to work in US
    • Ability to lift heavy bags in excess of 60+ pounds, with or without a reasonable accommodation
    • Willing to work nights, weekends and holidays
    • Positive and outgoing team player
    • Must type 30 wpm
    • Attend 3 weeks of Customer Service training (date to be determined)

    Physical and Other Requirements

    You must pass an Agility Test including but not limited to the tasks below: 

    • Lifting and carrying of various baggage, weighing up to 60 lbs., up to a height of 14 inches
    • Overhead lifting of baggage up to 30 lbs. and up to a height of 48 inches
    • Frequent working, positioning and reaching at all levels from floor to 48 inches
    • Frequent kneeling, bending, squatting, crouching, stooping with sustained postural tolerance for up to 2 minutes
    • Pushing/pulling of baggage, baggage carts or wheel chairs, requiring up to 45ft./lbs. of force
    • Climbing of stairs or ramp up to aircraft
    • Handling, operation and wearing of safety equipment as needed

    This position will require the selected candidate to travel outside the station for training - in addition to the completion of their new hire on-boarding.
