  • Primary Job Duties

    • Lead the Web Development and Programming team
    • Oversee the implementation and support of all external SkyWest and ExpressJet websites
    • Oversee and participate in the development, maintenance and administration of XSLT stylesheets for online HTML delivery
    • Provide technical support and back-end development for SkyWest’s technical publications authoring, publishing and distribution systems
    • Work closely with business partners to establish and uphold standard processes and procedures
    • Develop and maintain relationships with outside vendors
    • Assist with project definition and scheduling from concept to final deliverable
    • Assist project team members in developing a working schedule
    • Lead, and develop skills of team members and establish correct priorities
    • Manage multiple projects that are at different stages in the development cycle
    • Assist and support the technical needs of the Creative Services team as needed

    Preferred Skills

    • Proficiency working with PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, XHTML, XML, CSS & XSLT
    • Experience working with SilverStripe CMS a plus
    • Solid understanding of SEO strategies and implementation
    • Attention to detail and thorough testing abilities a must
    • Understanding of Arbortext Editor, Publishing Engine, Styler and Windchill (ACM)
    • Proficiency in creating, modifying XML schemas, XSLT, DTD, HTML, PDF 
    • Ability to read and modify Arbortext Command Language ACL script 
    • Solid understanding of bursting specifications and configuration 
    • Solid understanding of publishing rules and configuration 
    • Understanding of Adobe Acrobat Professional and other Adobe Creative Cloud applications

    Required Licenses and Accreditation

    • Bachelor's degree in related field and/or 4+ years developing and managing multimedia projects
