  • Primary Job Duties

    Support the front and backend programming needs of Company websites and special projects. Work closely with the Technical Publications group by developing and updating XML based DTDs and stylesheets along with XSLT stylesheets and transformations.  Reports to the Manager of Creative Services.

     

     

    • Maintain and develop both front and backend of company websites and special projects
    • Write quality code and document code properly including comments within code base
    • Assist in creation and design of user interfaces
    • Apply established corporate branding specifications to ensure work meets corporate guidelines
    • Provides creative input and support through various stages of the design/development process as a member of the creative/development team
    • Effectively communicate project requests and proactively report issues, progress, and recommendations to supervisor and/or project leaders
    • Respond quickly to new project requests and changing priorities, while still maintaining established design and production standards
    • Develop and maintain professional relationships with project team members through positive, team-oriented, and service conscious behavior
    • Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
    • Other duties as assigned

    Minimum Requirements

    • Web Programming: (Required)
      • Experience working with PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, XHTML, XML, CSS & XSLT
      • CakePHP experience a plus
      • Experience working with SilverStripe CMS a plus
      • Attention to detail and thorough testing abilities a must
      • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite  
    • Web/Graphic Design: (Preferred)
      • Web/interface design with solid understanding of CSS
      • Strong graphic design skills, visual style and understanding of layout and color theory
      • Two years experience or Bachelor's Degree in a related field
