Primary Job Duties

  • Overall responsibility for SkyWest’s pipeline programs with emphasis on sourcing pilots and A&P mechanics
  • Direct team of supervisors, specialists, and advocates; with ultimate ownership of team productivity
  • Interface with multiple teams, including within SkyWest, SkyWest executives, and external stakeholders to drive program alignment and results
  • Maintain comparatives of regional agreements including commercial fixed wing, rotor, pathway and other programs

Data Optimization

  • Initial and ongoing mastery of Salesforce that ensures full optimization, ability to train team members, and make recommendations for changes
  • Leverage data to make recommendations for targeted recruitment efforts at pipeline source organizations
  • Maintain comparatives of flight school commercial fixed wing, rotor, and other programs
  • Ensure capture, review, reporting of all data activities and develop processes to ensure data integrity and reliability at every source
  • Responsible to track Cadet Advocate and other team member performance and output, using Salesforce as the primary source of information

Cadets

  • Identify, set and provide reporting goals for cadet contacts
  • Identify, set, and provide reporting goals for lead conversions to cadets
  • Define content (questions/information) that identify when the Cadet Advocate or Pilot Mentor act as a primary contact
  • Identify and reach out to displaced students with recommendation(s) of alternative flight schools to complete their cadet responsibilities and maintain relationship with SkyWest
  • Constant management and review cadet drop out report; ensuring knowledge of all causes of leakage.
  • Contact all cadets going to other carriers for reasons why they are not coming to OO, predominant schools/Regionals, etc.
  • Continued review of FO eligible cadets to ensure there is no wait time from eligibility to class date

Pipeline Source Organizations

  • Responsible for the identification, maintenance and growth of relationships with pipeline sources such as schools, military, part 135 carriers, etc.
  • Serve as Primary contact for flight schools once agreement has been initiated to include coordination of all activities relative to scheduling, execution, documentation of all flight school visits, calls, etc.
  • Identify, set, and provide reporting goals for school contacts (number of visits, on site personnel, calls, etc.)
  • Ensure direct connectivity with top tier schools that delivers enhanced attention and partnership
  • Work with top tier schools to reach students at very first point of contact (IE when they are first applying for school or financing)
  • Provide and document updates/changes with school programs including university programs that are being eliminated
  • Creation and construction of military pathway program
  • Research and develop international pathway program
  • Utilize PD personnel to supplement visits (or be the primary on site representative where appropriate) to ensure leased space is properly maintained, utilized, visibility, etc.

Minimum Requirements

  • Able to demonstrate eligibility to work in the United States
  • Strong business acumen and knowledge of airline industry and internal work groups
  • Eligibility and willingness to travel domestically and internationally with occasional frequency

 

Required Licenses and Accreditation

  • Current driver's license and ability to meet insurance requirements to drive Company and rented vehicles

 

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Inclusive and robust communication skill set; with ability to effectively communicate to a large range of audiences
  • Strong relationship skills and networking ability; Proven aptitude to drive various stakeholders toward meeting common objectives
  • Solid data analyzing skills, including creation, interpretation, and ability to make recommendations based on data
  • Working knowledge and experience with Salesforce, ICiMS, and Ultipro
  • Proven track record in prioritizing and managing multiple projects with timely and effective results
  • Experience managing remote workforce

Physical and Other Requirements

  • Ability and willingness to travel, at times frequently
  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time
