Primary Job Duties

Primary job duties for Temporary Specialist Drug & Alcohol include but are not limited to:

  • Manage, process, and maintain pre-employment drug testing documents
  • Coordinate collectors for pre-employment testing at employment centers
  • Coordinate testing needs of new hires as needed (remotes and virtual hires)
  • Verify drug test results and ensure proper paperwork was filled out by collector
  • Notify appropriate individuals of positive test results
  • Process record check requests from other airlines
  • Maintain BAT machines calibration logs
  • Ensure DOT testing and requirements are met for safety sensitive positions
  • Assist in daily random testing if needed
  • Serve as a liaison for employees and/or management with questions regarding testing policies and procedures
  • Assist with Drug and Alcohol internal auditing processes
  • Attend industry meetings as needed
  • Maintain Reasonable Cause Determination training (travel as needed)
  • Other department duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school graduate or GED
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Internet, Outlook, Crew Trac, UltiPro)
  • Ability to maintain a positive working relationship with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to present information, both written and orally, clearly and accurately
  • Strong project and time management skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Airline industry experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of DOT/FAA testing regulation experience preferred
  • Must possess valid driver license

Physical and Other Requirements

  • Some travel may be necessary
  • Office setting: Sitting at a computer for extended periods of time
