Primary Job Duties


  • Assist in the planning and organizing of pilot recruiting events
  • Inform and mentor applicants in a timely manner regarding their status during the hiring process, as needed
  • Coordinate with other departments on posting and advertising for events
  • Assist in the gathering and recording of statistical and financial data involved with pilot hiring
  • Help set up travel, including flights and hotel rooms for pilot recruiters
  • Assist in the distribution of data to other SkyWest departments
  • Document and make notes on all important information regarding the application process
  • Assist in the organizing of our Pilot Bridge Program in coordination with the People Department
  • Occasional travel required
  • Reports to the Manager of Pilot Sourcing Flight Operations
  • Other duties as assigned 


Minimum Requirements


  • Exceptional multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Willing to assist traveling recruiters nights and weekends as needed
  • Ability to work independently and stay on task with little supervision
  • Self-Motivated
  • Team Player
  • Excellent decision maker
  • High attention to detail
  • Willing to be flexible in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Work well under pressure and with deadlines
  • Intermediate ability with Microsoft Excel required
  • CrewQual and CrewTrac experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations a plus
  • Valid and current Driver's License


Physical and Other Requirements

  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to periodically walk and climb stairs
  • Ability to travel, when required
